Biography

Dr. Ismail Malik is an Infectious Disease Physician with a passion for tackling complex medical cases and advancing patient care through critical thinking and evidence-based practices. Originally from Nigeria, West Africa, Dr. Malik comes from a family deeply rooted in the medical profession, instilling in him values of hard work, dedication, and service to humanity.

Dr. Malik joined the SIH Medical Group as a new physician, drawn by their commitment to exceptional healthcare delivery, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive team environment. At SIH, he is dedicated to providing honest, compassionate, and patient-centered care, whether in the clinic or at the hospital bedside. His focus includes educational outreach for infection prevention, enhancing ARV compliance among HIV patients, and reducing hospital-acquired infections.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Malik enjoys the natural beauty and outdoor activities offered by the region, as well as engaging with the local community. Outside of work, he has a passion for art, enjoys watching soccer and basketball, and loves exploring new cuisines and meeting new people.
